He was involved in writing Work Package Plans (WPP's) and risk assessments (WPP’s are Network Rails equivalent of a Method Statement) He carried out many other jobs, such as organising inductions of new staff members, taking site photos of problems and progress.He also looked at possible locations for hoists and routes for transferring materials in and out of the existing grade I listed building.Being Grade I and of national importance, Rory was heavily involved with the salvage strategy making sure the company appeased English Heritage who had strict guidelines on any material being removed and on methods of construction.
