I hold an Interdisciplinary Master of Arts from New York University with a focus in Neuropsychology and Mindfulness, and I hold an Interdisciplinary Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University focusing on the biopsychosocial aspects of psychology, sociology, anthropology, world religion, and philosophy. Both degrees had similar foci with the undergraduate being foundational regarding the intersection of psychology, sociology, anthropology, biology, cognitive and affective neuroscience, world religion, and philosophy. The masters degree delved into the specifics related to the neuroscience behind these interactions and how it can be used with mindfulness-based interventions.I’ve utilized this knowledge to teach a variety of college courses, in-person and online, at Berkeley College in New York City. These classes cover a range of subjects ranging from: Introductory Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Human Sexuality, Life Span Development, Mind/Body Science, Human Violence and Aggression, Addiction and Obsession, Human Resources, and Introductory Ethics.In addition to teaching, I am the Senior Operations Manager of RiseNY, a Times Square venue focusing on NYC culture but with the addition of a “flying theatre” ride . RiseNY combines a classic museum experience and a motion platform simulation ride that focuses on New York City’s culture and ends with a simulated “fly over” of the 5 boroughs of NYC. I handle operational logistics such as: managing staff with a specific focus on the ride technicians, coordination inspections and maintenance with building engineers, coordinating with the marketing and sales departments, upkeep regarding the exhibit’s enhancements and maintenance, balancing supply orders and onsite inventory, ride capture rate statistics and unit usage, and assisting the security staff as I am a licensed NY state security guard with over a decade of security experience. I also assist with guest relations issues such as ticketing sales, rescheduling tickets, special events, groups, and sound engineering for performances.
