Crafted legislation (SB516/HB745 "Overdose Response Program" passed on May 12, 2015) to expand a program to help reverse the continuing opioid overdose trend in Maryland by, in addition to other provisions, providing civil immunity protections for health practitioners and good samaritans who take part in this program. Lobbied for and testified on behalf of this piece of legislation in front of the State Senate and House of Delegates.

Learned how to perform legal research in a real world setting. Drafted legal documents, read case law and prepared detailed case briefs. Filed court documents electronically as well as in person. Primary point of contact for clients in order to allow Mr. Stewart to focus on the more detail oriented aspects of his practice.Organized case files and maintained documents in an orderly manner. Created and maintained multiple marketing plans through websites, social media and community interaction in order to help the business grow.

Responded to wide range of calls for service and other public service details. Made decisions in a timely manner under stressful conditions in order to resolve issues between conflicting parties. Investigated a wide range of crimes such as theft, rape, assault and suspicious death. Wrote detailed reports of my investigations and formally charged those responsible. Testified in court on multiple occasions in order to defend my investigatory findings. Investigated multiple vehicle accidents and reported my findings in accordance with Maryland State Police regulations.

Deployed to Fallujah, Iraq; Europe, Cuba, Okinawa and The Philippines. Supervised up to 50 Marines in my care in all aspects of their lives as well as their military careers. Engaged in peace keeping and combat operations. Trained Marines in various subjects and evaluated them on their performance with standards set by my superiors. Analyzed the compiled data from different examinations to set future goals for my subordinates both mentally and physically. Developed the ability to stay calm in the most stressful situations and to tactically employ the Marines in my care.
