As the Organisational Resilience Director I run risk, crisis and business continuity management activities for the NGO across the Central Asia region. (Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and India).

• Took SLB in Iraq from having no in country presence to a secure operation of over 1000 people, commensurately growing the security element from $1m to $50m a year. Responsible for all aspects of staffing, resourcing, policy, procedures and budget.• Developed and implemented Iraq and MEA Regional Business Continuity and Crisis Management Plans through a comprehensive and iterative training and educational programme, acted as advisor to President MEA on crisis management and business continuity throughout the region, including planning and managing evacuation and business continuity policy for Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain and Syria during the ‘Arab Spring’ with minimal business interruption.• Conceived and developed innovative new security solutions in Iraq delivering real savings of over $5m a year and concurrently increasing resource availability and profitability whilst allowing SLB to enhance competitiveness.
