Provided intensive case management to 15 transgender and/or nonbinary individuals leaving homelessness. Case management duties include skill building around utility and rent payments, eviction prevention, and helping participants get connected to gender-affirming providers in the Portland Metro Region. Corresponded with Home Forward to complete paperwork regarding the Regional Long-Term Rental Assistance program and to coordinate rent payments. Maintained positive relationships with landlords and property management companies while ensuring that Fair Housing regulations were followed.

Managed a caseload of 30 people experiencing houselessness. Completed housing search and placement for clients, as well as completing referrals to community partners. Maintained accurate physical and electronic records, including using the Homeless Management Information System to enter and exit participants from database and updating regular reporting functions. Performed case management reviews and maintained effective communication with all staff, programs, and community partners.

Managed a case load of 8-12 individuals experiencing houselessness at the Roseway motel shelter. Helped 5 people achieve long-term sustainable housing. Assisted participants with getting identity documentation, setting up medical care, and feeling ready for long-term housing. Provided crisis intervention and assisted with deescalating clients in heightened emotional states. Built rapport with 70+ participants at the Roseway shelter. Kept detailed case notes, as well as logging daily site activities and checking in on participants daily. Ensured the shelter was running as normal by keeping up with provisions and cleanliness.

Worked at the only LGBTQ+ re-entry home in the Pacific Northwest. Provided Behavior Rehabilitation Services to youth within OYA and ODHS programs. This includes skill building around cooking/cleaning/house tasks, crisis intervention and de-escalation, identity and self exploration, and job/education skills. Coordinated medical & psychiatric care and ensured clients received quality medication services. Led a weekly support group for clients. Created and updated Policy and Procedure to be in line with BRS program guidelines. Provided a nurturing environment for youth to gain confidence and launch into the world.

Worked at the only LGBTQ+ re-entry home in the Pacific Northwest. Assisted youth in both ODHS and OYA systems with life skills development, crisis intervention, and activity and safety planning.

Worked at Southern Oregon University's Queer Resource Center. Welcomed students to the center and assisted them in finding on-campus resources to fit their academic and mental health needs.
