Upon completion of my marketing internship at RangerUp (June 2019- August 2019), I was hired by the company as a part-time marketing employee. I am responsible for the daily postings to the Ranger Up social media accounts, which number close to 1 million users. I have created the schedule based on the varying audiences of each Social Media platform dependent on demographics and historical purchases. I am involved with the Marketing team in organizing all of the products in the company by going through and categorizing each one according to type, design, size, color, etc. then reviewing product profitability and making determinations regarding the viability of each product.

During my internship, I was responsible for creating the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for Ranger Up. Another responsibility during my internship involved researching stores nationwide that could be potential business partners with RangerUp. The objective was to find merchants who would sell the RangerUP brand in their stores. The work involved creating a database along with an algorithm to rank potential. From there, I was involved in the marketing team's efforts to contact the merchants, and in many cases, I was involved in direct sales.I was tasked with organizing a posting schedule for the Ranger Up social media accounts based on the success of posts. I would create the schedule based on the varying audience of each Social Media platform such as age and gender. I also took into account when most people would be active on each Social Media platform.I helped the Marketing team in organizing all of the products in the company by going through and categorizing each one, then reviewing the product's profitability and determining whether or not the product should be continued.Another tasking from the internship was to create the CRM for Ranger Up. I researched hundreds of stores nationwide that could be potential clients of Ranger Up, by selling our product in their stores. I built a large spreadsheet of 500 stores with contact information for each of them as potential clients, from there I contacted most of the stores and attempted to sell our products to them.I spent some time on the Customer Service side of Ranger Up, filling in for the CS representative on leave. I spent time responding to people's emails, Facebook Messages, Instagram Direct Messages, and phone calls. I used prior knowledge from previous jobs in retail to help deal with upset or confused customers.

After being employed by Subway for two months I was promoted to oversee all evening operations. Responsibilities of Night Manager were to ensure that not only my tasks were completed by my coworkers as well. The owner of the store entrusted me with running the store at the age of 16, I was to take inventory and handle the money in register. The owner placed me in charge of people twice my age and trusted that things were handled professionally and efficiently. I was even presented a key to the store and the security alarm code to lock the store once the nightly duties were completed.
