I was recruited to provide strategy management (leadership), programming (policies/campaigns), business development (sales), and stakeholder collaboration for Clean Energy program in NY. In this role, I oversee 10-member multidisciplinary team (economists, lawyers and engineers) to design, implement, and manage legislative and policy campaigns and solutions to lower environmental impact of electricity production.● I successfully grew and expanded the EDF Climate Corps program into NYC by 200% over three years.● Boosted state level renewable energy and efficiency goals by forging and maintaining strong ongoing relationships with NYS and NYC elected officials, regional allies, and key stakeholders within NYS energy sector.● I was instrumental in aiding expanded use of Time of Use (TOU) rates throughout NYS by steering EDF regulatory policies and initiatives related to Reforming the Energy Vision (REV).● In this capacity, I interfaced directly with C level executives throughout New York, building relationships with key decision makers to advance targeted policies and initiatives.

I was recruited to oversee daily department operations, directing The Authority’s utility budget and all energy related contractual and regulatory deliverables. In this function, I reported directly to the CFO, managed $550M utility budget and $30M operational budget, and led 35-member team to ensure effective delivery of services encompassing forecasting, energy auditing, benchmarking, capital improvements, and operational control of heating plants.● I generated $24M additional annual revenue for 2012 and beyond through identifying regulatory opportunities which led to the development and implementation of a cost savings program. ● Produced $64M savings in 2011 by efficiently tracking, monitoring, and managing commodity market purchases for electricity, natural gas, and oil versus local utility rates. ● I improved efficiency by 92% through successful department restructuring—scaling operational capabilities, capitalizing on outsourcing, and streamlining internal processes/systems.● Established and executed multiple energy efficiency and cost control programs, including spearheading program to transition all developments from heating oil to natural gas.

I drove rapid business growth by planning, developing, and managing business development initiatives for Public Sector division—proposal/RFP development, project management, customer relationship building, and marketing strategy development targeting Federal, State and Local government clients throughout the US.● I consistently exceeded YOY sales goals (individual and group) for two consecutive years. ○Hit $9.7M in 2009 gross margin, achieving 215% of individual goal and 100% of group goal. ○Attained $4.8M in 2008 gross margin, realizing 159% of individual goal and 96% of group goal.● Implemented energy efficiency programs and drove operational improvements in collaboration with 200+ individual government agencies to lower energy expense.● I boosted RFP response rate by 100%+ and success rate by 50% through developing standardized response process for government solicitations.

I boosted revenue retention and growth by effectively managing key accounts of Federal, State and City government agencies operating in National Grid’s NYC service territory, including analyzing client needs, promoting natural gas technologies, and collaborating with multiple agencies (internal/external) to meet clients’ operational and project needs.● Recouped $4M+ in unpaid arrears and previously unrealized revenue for FY2006 by negotiating contracts with city agencies to resolve billing disputes.●I generated $2M profit for 2006, achieving 400% of individual 2006 goal and 1/3 of departmental goal.● Slashed billing errors, eliminated payment delays, and lowered payment processing time by leading coordination with multi-departmental team that developed an adaptive billing system.
