I returned to the Clavert Trust for the interim period as a Domestic Assistant. During my time there i worked as part of a different team. In this role i was responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the centre passed guest rooms, chalets and luxury lodges, as well as maintaining the visitor centre and communal and staff areas. I also assisted in the general maintenance required around the site. Working as a team member was vital for this role, that required excellent communication and time keeping, especially during busy periods where tighter deadlines and stricter schedules we required.

As a Comis Chef at the Sun Hotel I have experienced a more authoritative role; managing the kitchen and acting as a 'supervisor' for other members of staff by running the shift to the high standards expected of me. As the newest member of the team and the freshest eyes to the kitchen I highlighted where the food hygiene could be improved, demonstrating ways to improve from my previous training. Though the high pressure and demanding atmosphere was initially daunting, I have now come to relish this which has given me a drive to push myself further and strive for greater goals and higher standards.

My responsibilities in my that role include, preparing breakfast for hotel guests on a daily basis, and catering for special occasions such as afternoon tea, small corporate events and weddings. Working at the Hotel has allowed me to develop and enhance my skills of working under pressure and consistently meeting tight deadlines.

I worked at the Calvert Trust Kielder as a Kitchen Assistant. Working there i achieved my Level 2 Food Hygiene Award and my Gluten Free and Celiac training. I catered for the respite care group, corporate events as well as holiday makers, with numbers numbers ranging form 20 - 200 at any given time. This role required me to deal with high pressure situations and meet considerable targets on a constant basis.
