The NHS Confederation is the membership organisation that brings together, supports and speaks for the whole healthcare system in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. I lead our Acute, Community and Ambulance policy and influencing work. I also lead our membership and engagement teams.We speak on behalf of our membership on the issues that are important to them. From the need for capital investment and a fully funded workforce strategy to the critical importance of social care, we challenge government on the issues that are important to our members. With a strong focus on place based working, improvement, integration and helping people to live happy, healthy economically productive lives, I am committed to a vision for the NHS that will survive for another 75 years.

We're a new, independent charity, that will listen to peoples experiences of the healthcare system, organise their views, and use the experiences of actual people to better inform commissioning.My role is to build a charity from the bottom up into a viable social enterprise, that is knowledgeable, informed, credible, and capable of influencing commissioners across Kirklees.
