Primary responsibilities include:• Cloud Solution - Accountable for the management and continued progression of a highly available cloud based solution hosted in Amazon’s AWS• On call Support - Manager of the on call team providing 24/7 support (up to 6 staff) • Continuous Service Improvement Projects: Identify and implement CSI projects to increase quality in our services, deliver process efficiencies and add value to our business and customers • Change Management – Responsible for the coordination of ALL activities required to make changes to the infrastructure, applications and services• Budget Management - management of the day to day IT operating and capital budgets• Design & Transition - Collaboration with relevant parties in the delivery and removal of services and infrastructure to the cloud and physical environments• Capacity Management - Manage the cloud resource utilisation to ensure the current and future capacity matches requirements in a cost effective manner and within agreed budgets• 3rd Party Solutions - Identify, build and manage 3rd party contracts and relationships• Processes & Services - Manage the lifecycle of service operation processes including incident/problem/event/access management etc. Also responsible for the integrity of all operating processes and security policies• Office IT Infrastructure - Responsible for the office IT Infrastructure and facilities. I project managed a full office relocation in 2014 for over 25 staff (6 month project)
