Directly support 23 retail stores throughout the state of Hawaii by:-Driving operational metrics through associate performance -Employing people based approach to train associates and department managers -Coordinate huddles, training, and professional development opportunities with overall goal of increasing sales.

-Oversee a team of approximately 10 associates, managing their development and performance to meet key metrics such as on-time fulfillment and on time hand off while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and efficiency-Create employee schedule based on sale projection and target labor hours to fulfill customer demand during daily operations-Develop and execute a people driven strategy that coaches, recognizes, and motivates employees to drive better overall performance and increase sales by at least 50% year over year (YOY), currently at 52% growth YOY as of 8/20/2024-Execute a plan to improve department performance from prior management, resulting in best ranking at number 4 out of 23 stores while being the highest volume store in the top 5 ranking-Collaborate with eCommerce Operations Manager to conduct site visits (including outer island stores) to observe and make recommendations for operational and sales/metric performance improvement to increase department profitability -Support other stores on island to assist with staff shortages and equip other HSDMs with intellectual tools to recognize their associates and inspire them to exceed operational metric requirements while providing exceptional coaching and mentoring

-Ensure all orders, whether curbside or delivery, are filled on time-Create employee schedules for department-Maintain clear and concise communication with store management on progress of department -Maintain open line of communication with corporate office pertaining to sales goals, staffing, customer relations

- Maintain active status as set by the chapter by attending weekly meetings, participating in events, paying dues, and reaching fundraising quota- Participate in national networking events and workshops such as LEAD and Grand Chapter Congress-Serve on various committees focused on recruitment, event planning, and professional development

- Assist and collaborate with ProService Hawaii (PSH) clients on filling out necessary paperwork in relation to healthcare enrollment, employee hires, etc. - Collaborate with implementation consultants with sending paperwork to state, clients, and filing correspondence in correlated client file - Manipulate SalesForce to track client onboarding progress and work with implementation consultants to ensure smooth process for PSH clients

-Contributing ideas and helping to execute a successful recruitment plan, gaining members to grow SHRM's presence in the Shidler College of Business-Creating, planning, and executing community service events for all club members, taking attendance at said events and assigning credit where necessary-Assisting other club officers where necessary, currently aiding president with corporate relations position, and coordinating with director of fundraising to plan events

-Currently focused on filling student, community, and faculty positions on the Student Media Board-Determine the general direction of the board, frequency of board meetings for the year-Collaborating with current university leadership, Vice Provost for Student Success, on student outreach, serving student population -Chairing each meeting of the board, running a smooth motion list in accordance with Roberts Rules of Order

-Developing marketing strategy for project brand of the company: Hardware Science-Utilizing Sprout to manage and create social media posts on a schedule, analyzing Sprout data to plan next steps and measure success of past campaigns-Editing content for posting on multiple platforms such as Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok

-Managed all incoming and outgoing funds for the chapter -Created and modernized a form of payment for dues for chapter brothers via chapter website www.dspuhm.com-Introduced active status refunds to encourage brothers to be more active in chapter meetings and activities-Sent out instructions for modernized method of paying dues to brothers each semester, tracked progress of all brothers, worked with those experiencing financial difficulty in paying dues-Worked with local companies who sponsor DSP, coordinated receipt of sponsorships, encouraged future sponsorship-Laid out a plan to switch banking institutions, streamline banking system to be more efficient for future executive boards

-Processed customers transactions at checkout lanes, assisted customers with exchanges, returns, and Target debit/credit card sign ups at customer service desk, staffed self-checkout to help customers with their transactions, processed Target credit card payments at customer service desk-Ensured all food handling procedures were followed in accordance with Ecolab guidelines while on cold and hot bar in the Starbucks kiosk-Inputted orders into Target/Starbucks point of sale, created drinks in accordance with Starbucks recipe cards in a timely manner for customers
