I've moved from a career as an engineering geologist to software, bringing my background in science to the fast-paced world of web development. I'm an Engineer at Xero, where I work across the entire stack to deliver new features and functionality to our customers.I'm highly adaptable and quick to adjust to new technologies. I regularly work with C# .NET Framework & .NET Core, JavaScript, React, Redux, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, SQL and several AWS & Microsoft Azure technologies. I've recently been learning more about serverless architecture, Docker and Web Components. I have a strong interest in UX/UI design, responsiveness and accessibility in the web development space.I understand that achieving the best results for our clients is a team effort. Working collaboratively is one of my strengths and this includes honest, respectful communication, seeking solutions and actively contributing to creating a positive environment. Web development is a constantly changing and challenging field demanding self-motivated learning, which yields big rewards. I'm excited to continue evolving as a developer.
