My role at Optimity is primarily to manage and undertake economic analysis. This has included conducting cost-benefit analysis on employment programmes for people with disabilities for the European Parliament, a review of methodologies for measuring the economic impact of work-related injury and illness for EU-OSHA, and development of an online economic tool for use by medical diagnostic manufacturers. I have produced cost-benefit analysis on new Models of Care for the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, while in the UK I have conducted multiple public health economic analyses for Public Health England (PHE) and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). I've provided economic input for a variety of other projects within the public and private sectors, including return on investment support for technology investment within a financial services firm. During my time at Optimity, I have also co-written two book chapters, on economic analysis in criminal justice and return on investment analysis in information management. I've presented at conferences held by the American Society for Criminology and the Society for Benefit-Cost Analysis, among others.

My main role during this extended internship was to develop budget impact models for a variety of oncology drugs, to be adapted by local affiliates.
