Home Based Family Clinician
Current-Deliver strengths-based mental health treatment to children ages 3-7 and their families in their homes and communities, recently performed via telehealth video platforms-Use individual, dyadic, and family approaches to address presenting concerns including trauma, grief or loss, disrupted attachment, anxiety, depression, sensory integration, and neurodevelopmental disorders-Provide caregivers with developmental guidance and therapeutic support to address impacts of intergenerational trauma and increase caregivers’ capacity to appropriately respond to children’s behaviors and emotions-Advocate for families’ access to resources including housing, childcare, public benefits, food, and legal services-Coordinate with schools, pediatricians, Department of Children and Families, and other providers-Maintain documentation in electronic medical record
