As a Bachelor of Biomedical Science student I operate as an executive committee member within the Monash Biomed Society. As Vice President of Academics I coordinate and organise our various academic events, facilitating networking opportunities between students and industry professionals. In this capacity I also negotiate and build partnerships with biomedical science alumni to provide accessible avenues of advice for students on their journey to graduation. Outside of my studies I work as a Patient Relationship Officer at Jessie McPherson Private Hospital. Through this position I have cultivated my administrative and clerical skills whilst also gaining experience in the healthcare system. It's through this work that I have developed an aspiration to work in Health.
