I have over seventeen years experience in the plumbing construction industry. Seven of these years working as a plumber, drainer and gas fitter and ten years spent as a hydraulic services design consultant. Over this time I have worked on projects involving multi-story residential, commercial, retail, health and industrial buildings. My career commenced via a plumbing apprenticeship and has progressed through to a fully qualified plumbing tradesman, foreman, estimator, project manager, design draftsman, BIM designer and licensed QBCC hydraulic services design consultant.My Current role as the DMA Engineers hydraulic principal / hydraulic services design consultant requires me to communicate well with project managers, architects, developers, local authorities, infrastructure networks, builders and plumbing contractors.Utilizing my previous on site plumbing knowledge, I bring a practical understanding of the build ability and implementation of hydraulics into every project, ensuring an efficient, cost effective and reliable design solution is achieved for my clients. I believe thorough knowledge through formal education, experience via practical application of skills and high level communication are key requirements for a successful hydraulic services designer.I have always had a passion for the plumbing industry and enjoy demonstration of my on site experience combined with technical knowledge. I am an outcome focused individual who takes great pride in achieving the best possible results for my clients. I have a high level of dedication to my work and enjoy interacting with clients and colleagues and am able to adapt quickly to new environments, understand different systems and procedures and work well autonomously as well as part of a team.I have a thirst for developing new skills and expertise and have a personal commitment to lifelong learning and development.
