I'm an open-minded, kind, and driven Care Management Coordinator at The Buckeye Ranch. I engage with families, children, and youth in need of behavioral health services. I create care plans and foster rapport and communication within interdisciplinary teams to ensure that my clients receive the adequate and comprehensive care they need. I make sure the families' voices are centered in my care plans and I approach all cases with a trauma-informed and culturally humble mindset.I received my MPH in Health Behavior and Health Promotion from The Ohio State University College of Public Health. I have professional interests in: health equity, community health (LGBTQ+, Appalachian, Spanish-speaking), the outdoors and mental health, and sexual/reproductive health. I value and advocate for intersectionality, interdisciplinary collaboration, community-based participatory research, and sustainability in public health. I believe that a public health approach to disparities is necessary for change and I believe that it is our duty to uplift and empower community voices.I received my BA in Spanish from Ohio University in 2022 along with a minor in Linguistics as well as a certificate in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Forensic Studies. I love the outdoors and being outside doing things like: climbing, hiking, biking, skiing and boating. I also love powerlifting, cooking, and playing fantasy RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons.
