Having left ADVAM, I spent 18 months doing some consultancy work on a Data Warehouse / Management Reporting project for an international airport with whom I've worked previously

At ADVAM I was primarily responsible for managing the team of business analysts, product specialists and project managers in the delivery of ADVAM's car park revenue management system. This system was at the heart of all work done by the Manchester office. Projects would be complex and a dozen or more would always be running concurrently. With tight deadlines and limited available resource across all areas of the business, this really did make for a challenging working environment.Separate to this, I also continued work in the Tour Operator revenue management field. I continued to support and develop the system originally developed as Inventive IT and additionally designed and developed a new competitor price comparison application for one of Canada's leading tour operators.

The early years at Inventive were spent developing and implementing our own tour operator, automated revenue management system which was implemented for different customers in the UK, Europe and North America. In order to implement this system we also built complex data warehouses in order to combine all the required information for our system (and their wider business).In the latter half of my time at Inventive the focus of the company changed to our new car park revenue management and reservation system for which I was involved as project manager and then, as the team grew, projects director.

Involved in the development and support of numerous desktop applications with focus shifting to management information reporting. With that knowledge I was then the developer of a new late-market revenue management system.
