Project 1 (June 2024 – Present): Development of the £160m Investment Zone for South East Wales – playing a lead role in the collaborative delivery of a multi-stage business case to UK Government and Welsh Government to establish a £160m Investment Zone in the Cardiff Capital Region.Project 2 (Aug 2023 – June 2024): Transition and Transformation of CCR from a City Deal to a City Region - successfully supported the transition and transformation of the Cardiff Capital Region from an economic development programme (the £1.3bn Cardiff Capital Region City Deal) to a standalone corporate public body (Cardiff Capital Region) – a public body with greater powers and freedoms to catalyse significant, innovation-led growth through strategic projects, partnerships, and investments.
