• To co-ordinate and develop the graphic resources within the Speech & Language Therapy Service for South East Essex.• To use available technology to design and create new graphic resource material for the purpose of communication and accessible information in response to requests by the Speech & language Therapists.• To demonstrate the use of available technology, graphic equipment and resources to Speech & Language Therapy staff and others as requested.• Develop and prepare graphic resources for teaching purposes within the Speech & Language Therapy Service.• To provide support and assist the Speech & Language Therapist in their work with people with a learning disability and communication difficulties.• To provide support and assist the Speech & Language Therapist in their work with people with a learning disability and dysphagia.• To implement therapeutic intervention programmes devised by the Speech & Language Therapist for groups and individuals• To work with carers, families and other professionals implementing treatment devised by the Speech & language Therapist for patients who have a learning disability and dysphagia.• To modify approaches and activities within programmes to meet requirements of service users, staff and/or their environment.• To be aware of the issues regarding an individual’s emotional and complex needs and how to deal with these in an effective way.• To provide communication training to staff and other professionals as required by the SLT service.• To provide dysphagia training to staff and carers as required by the SLT service.• Research and up-date available technology and compatibility with regard to graphic development.• Research and up-date available technology and compatibility with regard to AAC development.• To participate in clinical audit, research and team projects and objectives as directed.• To maintain and programme high tech AAC devices
