As the Business Unit Clinical Leader for the Healthcare Informatics Technology team at Canon Medical Systems USA, my goal is to blend clinical expertise with strategic marketing by understanding clinical needs and translating them into effective marketing initiatives that promote the adoption of medical products and technologies. Leading an exceptional clinical team, I spearhead Product Launches and New Product Introductions (NPIs), focusing on claims development, messaging, market research, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagements, collateral creation, sales training, clinical trials, and regulatory compliance.I foster cross-functional collaboration, working closely with R&D, regulatory affairs, sales, and product management teams to align clinical insights with broader business goals across Radiology, Neurology, Cardiology, and Emergency Care. Additionally, I collaborate with peers in full-line modalities such as Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance, Molecular Imaging, Ultrasound, and Virtualization, as well as emerging Artificial Intelligence platforms.My role bridges the gap between clinical evidence and the commercial world, translating technical and medical benefits into value propositions that resonate with clinicians and decision-makers.

As part of the Philips Connected Care Portfolio Marketing team, I support the development of business opportunities and position solutions with multiple value propositions in preparation for new product introductions. I follow the end-to-end marketing process, working closely with Marketing Insights & Analytics, product managers in Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM), and other teams across the Philips organization as ONE TEAM. I have a strong passion for listening to customers, crystallizing ideas, and finding creative ways to connect the dots in my everyday work.

As a Clinical Solutions Marketer, I work effectively across all levels of my organization and management. I am responsible for demonstrating the clinical benefits of devices, focusing on their positive impact on patient health, measured through meaningful, patient-relevant clinical outcomes, such as improvements in diagnosis or patient management, and contributions to public healthcare. I also drive new product innovations, supporting end-to-end (E2E) customer and patient solutions by assisting the sales cycle and defining First of Kind (FOK) specifications that align with clinical workflows and operational needs. Additionally, I ensure that medical equipment meets the future needs of hospital specialists, while maintaining clinical claims roadmaps for Philips CT, Cardiology, Neurology, Virtualization, and emerging Artifical Intelligence Platforms, all within the overarching strategy.

As a CT Clinical Adoption Specialist, it is essential to collaborate with Product Managers and the R&D team to ensure that First of Kind products and solutions meet and exceed clinical outcomes, human factors, and user experience specifications. I am involved in all phases of product development and lifecycle management. In this consultative role, I spend time in the market with clinicians, supporting clinical trials, field trials, and addressing high-priority customer concerns. The rest of my time is dedicated to representing the voice of the clinician within the BIU, driving clinically oriented and human-factor innovations.

Support the Philips Radiology Sales Teams by providing a professionally customized, clinical site visit experience and environment in which to conduct sales and market activities of First of Kind and current platforms. Responsible for managing the partnerships with Philips National Show Sites, and for the quality and content of clinical site visits.

Validation is an activity performed to confirm that the entire First of Kind (FOK) system or partial system, including all hardware, software, and labeling elements, meets the intended uses as defined by the Customer Requirements Specification.
