Co-founded Diaz Foods. During 20 successful years at Diaz Foods, ran several departments including Accounts Receivables, Human Resources and Purchasing. Lastly held the position of VP of Operations and Sales & Marketing. Directed a sales and purchasing staff od over 60, including retail salespeople, institutional food service salespeople, buyers and customer service. Maintained a 20% average sales growth over a period of 20 years. Managed successful procurement and development of several private label brand categories including: dairy, tortillas, canned tomatoes, peppers and cleaning products.In the early 90's she established a telemarketing sales system, which is still in place today. Resulting in increasing the company's sales to over 140 million annually. While at Diaz, developed a team of top executives, negotiated exclusivity agreements and successful marketing programs with domestic and international companies.
