• Month end closing and review actual activities that affect Financial Statements.• Monthly Close, including maintenance, reporting, and journal entries into general ledger, reconciliations and variance explanations.• Reconciliation of two Companies accounts. Integration of multiple departments and individual applications within the 2 companies in Accounting System.• Bank Reconciliation, Payroll, Merchant and loan accounts• Work directly with banks representatives on Company Loan matters including monthly financial statements reports.• Perform various analysis, actual, forecast, annual, accruals, inventory variances, standard costing, inventories (finished goods, work in progress etc, ), sales profitability per stock.• Capture and analyze ADP payroll to reflect actual labor direct, indirect, sales, warehouse, maintenance and G&A, including employee and employer contributions/voluntary deductions.• Review A/R to ensure accurate PO and G/L accounts used.• Posting A/P Invoices.• Fixed assets analysis and update spreadsheet.• Control of Company’s obsolete assets to reduce property taxes.• Resale tax calculations, payment, maintain relationship and assists Board of Equalization’s auditors in audits performed every 3 years.• Reports monthly Work Compensation Insurance payments. Participates in auditor’s review of works compensation insurance each year.• Manage a team of 5 accounting members including costing, A/R, A/P and Payroll.
