About Rosa Biaggio

I'm currently CEO and Founder of SUGARZYME company, a start up biotech whose focus is to develop sustainable products for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics areas, from agricultural residues (Biomass). I have more than 20 years' experience in large national and multinational companies, leaders in their segments, coordinating the development of projects in R & D with multidisciplinary teams, and in various market segments such as Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, Household Cleaning Products, Textile, Agrobusiness, paints, leather and plastics, among others. Expertise in Biotechnology and Biocatalysis processes, and other clean processes such as molecular distillation, spray-drier and freeze-drying, and natural product extraction / phytochemistry.Production of 10 patents of new products and articles published.Graduated in Pharmacy - Biochemistry at the University of São Paulo (USP), Master’s in Phytochemistry / Natural Products and Chemosystematics in the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCAR) and PhD in Biotechnology (Biocatalysis), Organic Synthesis and Natural Products at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP).
