I'm a passionate leader who believes that where you live should not impact access to quality health care. Leveraging the intersection of policy and data is how I create stories to influence and empower change. I believe that relationships are key to effective collaboration and critical to operationalize priority initiatives. As a writer, researcher and public speaker able to translate complex healthcare issues for key constituencies, choosing the most efficient communication tool is critical. With digital health being one of my focal points, I’ve had extensive experience with state and federal specific programs and policies. As a Manager I have developed and managed telehealth and IT projects, products and programs to improve hospital and clinic capacity in policy implementation, finance and operations, and population health. I appreciate telehealth/digital health as a modality to expand access, while reducing inefficiencies (long travel and wait times). Living, working and playing in Oregon has given me vast knowledge of Oregon and the west coast region’s healthcare landscape.
