Family Resource Center Director
Current➤ Providing consultation to staff to promote advancement of cultural awareness, responsiveness, and inclusive practice, while supporting teams in creating and delivering initiatives designed to build an authentic culture of inclusion.➤ Acting as a change agent, thought leader, and Subject Matter Expert on anti-racism, health and racial equity, DEI, and the social drivers of Trauma Informed Care, ensuring the long-term stability of social justice efforts.➤ Investigating harassment and discrimination complaints in the site, as well as facilitating DEI monthly trainings and focus groups for Wayside's largest community service site to address implicit and explicit bias.➤ Facilitating and deepening cross-cultural dialogue and intercultural competency, education, and awareness, while developing strategies to identify, address, and report disparities internally, and to measure progress against targets.➤ Addressing systemic inequities and actively removing barriers through community collaborations, helping families and individuals resolve challenges, strengthen their bonds, connect to others, and engage in their communities.➤ Working with numerous families, aiding in determining their needs and linking them with needed medical, social, educational, and other services, as well as providing support with crises.➤ Strategically overseeing the daily operations of the Family Resource Center, including budget management, hiring, supervising, and evaluating staff, maintaining licensure and accreditation status, and all fundraising efforts.➤ Developing the SMART goals program, and providing programmatic leadership to ensure all goals are met around the mission, quality efforts, risk management, fiscal operations, and strategic planning.➤ Meeting all contractual responsibilities while ensuring the health, safety, welfare, and accountability of children through constant supervision, and that parents receive adequate information about their child's experiences.
