With over two decades dedicated to the performing arts, my professional journey has been a fusion of acting, writing and movement directing. Working for various organisations such as NFTS, Identity School of Acting, Millennium FX, Spontaneous Productions and being a member of Shapes in Motion has allowed me to hone and expand my expertise as a physical theatre performer and director.As the founder, director and playwright of both The Bedlam Bunch and Outburst Theatre, I developed new approaches to immersive theatre and interactive storytelling, drawing on clowning techniques and improvisation, along with puppetry and a multitude of other physical theatre and circus skills.As a physical theatre storyteller, I have produced and performed three one-woman shows - Through the Hourglass, Raw Cake and The Wonky Shonky Show (a multi-roled, situation comedy-cabaret), all in London for the Sydenham Arts Festival. Lead acting roles have included Puck (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Iago (Othello Syndrome), Gwendolen (The Importance of Being Earnest) and D'Artagnan (The Three Musketeers).My most recent work has been leading Contact Improvisation workshops with actors and movement artists in various settings, including Shapes In Motion at Sadlers' Wells, and developing shamanic journey workshops as a tool to help actors reach full embodiment of characters, from the imaginal and memory realm drawn into the body, rather than from the mind into the body.
