The Hub, National centre for craft and Design is the UK’s largest and most prestigious gallery that specializes in hand Craft and innovative Design. I established myself as an effective business manager, practicing methods in training, HR, H&S, Legal and diary management. I was also in control of the finances, payroll, accounts and customer relations. This valuable experience allowed me to gain a wide knowledge about processes and techniques when running a business, as well as an extensive knowledge of customer service. My creative flair has enabled me to build an impressive portfolio, working with artwork and building relations with the likes of Tado and Vivian Westwood, also organizing events and concerts headlining Gordon Giltrap and Newton Faulkner, has boosted my profile in the commercial art world, liaising and interacting with all members of the public and the press.

My responsibilities were extended to store manager where I gained extensive knowledge about running a retail store. I managed the launch from beginning to end, receiving excellent feedback. A few of my daily responsibilities included, cash handling, stock takes, rotas, banking, employment, staff discipline, building maintenance, health and safety training and stock control.

I was responsible for the bar team, cash handling, banking and marketing of the building ensuring that it was running properly and dealing with customers. I endeavored to take on extra responsibility and push sales targets; teaching methods in up selling and customer care strategies.
