Rosalind is a retired barrister who has worked mainly in the public and regulatory sector. She retired from the Serious Fraud Office, where she was Director for 6 years, in 2003 and since then has been a non-exec director of the OFT, the DTI (now, BIS), member and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) based in Brussels and of the Insolvency Service. She was chair of the Fraud Advisory Panel, an independent “think-tank”, based (and supported by) the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales from 2003 - 2014. She is a member of various disciplinary committees, including the National Register of Public Service Interpreters and the Association of Accounting Technicians and is a member of the Regulatory Board of the ACCA and, until recently, chaired disciplinary tribunals for the Council of the Inns of Court. She was formerly Assistant Director and Head of Fraud Investigations Group (London), Department of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) (1969 - 1987) and General Counsel and Head of Policy for the Securities and Futures Authority, 1987 - 1997. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) 1964 and in practice in chambers (2, Crown Office Row EC4) 1964 – 1969.Appointed Companion of the Bath (CB) June, 2001 and appointed QC (hon causus), 2006Master of Bench, Middle Temple, since 2001 and Reader, 2010.
