*Identified dimerization of serotonin 2A receptor and metabotopic glutamate receptor 2 * Showed that the heterodimers are key molecular players in cortical neurons that are necessary and essential for the elicitation of hallucinogen dependent behavioral responses.* Identified pertussis toxin-sensitive heterotrimeric Gi/o proteins and Src to be responsible for the unique hallucinogenic specific genetic signature . * Proficient in genetic and signal transduction studies and mouse work.

Working as a research associate in Dr. Daniel C. Javitt’s research group (The Nathan S. Kline Institute For Psychiatric Research, NY, USA), I assist in performing experiments that examines the chemical balance in brains of rodent models that were given phencyclidine (PCP). The goal of Dr. Javitt’s research is to elucidate how the brain is altered during episodes of schizophrenic attack. My collaboration with Dr. Rokovska and other researchers generated a publication that provides a renewed appreciation for the interplay between striatal acetylcholine and somatostation in dopaminergic interaction.
