After years working on population genetics and genome sequencing, I started working in the spectral analyses area in 2008 with NIR data, and in 2021 with hyperspectral data. Over the years I established predictive models for many different parameters in the agricultural sector. I have worked with seed in different crops, with leaves and with root pulp. This allowed me to acquire broad experience in developing new applications, from the first idea about sample presentation until the development of applied predictive models. I helped to integrate NIR spectrometry in harvester machines, and established new NIR and hyperspectral methods in the field and in stationary devices in the lab. Last publications:L. C. Barreto, R.
