My ease with exact sciences and logical thinking, in addition to my experience with “carbons” since childhood, led me to the path of Chemical Engineering, which ended up captivating me.I have been following this path for more than 20 years in chemical industries, most of them in the area of customer service, both technical and commercial.Throughout my career I have understood that the path of exact sciences also crosses that of humanities and I pass this on to my team, as we often need to be more like Psychologists than Engineers.This is because we have to understand the customer's real needs if we really want to solve their problem, which also involves trying to understand what the operational unit is “asking”.Working with operational data is as if we were placing the unit on a “couch” before giving the diagnosis.Since 2005 I have worked at FCC S.A., a factory that produces catalysts for Catalytic Cracking Units, one of the countless processes in oil refineries.I have held the positions of junior, full and senior technical services engineer, also working with additives, being technical and commercial coordinator since 2015.With a farmer profile, I am responsible for internal customer services. I develop projects together with my clients, carrying out pre- and post-sales.I have an MBA in Foreign Trade and Business Management, both from FGV/RJ and a degree in Chemical Engineering from UFF - Universidade Federal Fluminense do RJ.And last but not least, I am Portuguese. Absolutely everything about the country enchants me. I have relatives there and it was with immense joy when I had the opportunity to meet them and learn more about our family.Welcome to my profile!
