I joined the Aware Privacy Team in 2021 in order to work on their product, APIMS, as a GDPR Specialist.APIMS (AwarePrivacy Privacy Information Management Systems) is a platform to facilitate compliance with Privacy regulations, such as the GDPR. It simplifies the process of completing a ROPA (Record of Processing Activities), and cross-references the ROPA and other Privacy documentation within the tool to automate other compliance tasks and documentation, such as PIAs, and a Risk & Control Matrix.Since the release of APIMS in April 2022, my role is to attend occasional meetings and plan updates for future updates of the tool.
