Under the supervision of the Head of Institutional Development, I was responsible for the strategic management of a national programme funded by Accenture and aimed at supporting micro and small entrepreneurs at the Base of the Pyramid in five cities (Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Ipojuca e Maragogipe) through mentoring and training activities.o Leading five regional teams, including training activities and strategic planning workshops with teams' members.o Monitoring and Evaluation: supervision of projects, collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, elaboration of multidimensional indicators to measure outcomes and impact.o Research, Development and Innovation: design of new products and methodologies, including the creation of an online training platforms and best practices databases.o Articulation of strategic partnerships with new investors and institutions, in order to scale up the financial and social sustainability of the programme.o Participation in institutional forums, seminars and global events.

Rio De Janeiro E Região, Brasil

o Identification and design of social projects for public and private investors (such as Petrobras and Caritas), focusing on women’s economic empowerment.o Design and implementation of business plan courses for women, micro and small entrepreneurs, using participatory methodologies and facilitation strategies based on participants’ previous knowledge and experience.

Peru

o Management of a microcredit service provided by a women’s cooperative that brings together micro and small entrepreneurs in the production of textiles, jewelry and local foods.Design and implementation of training courses that aimed at providing women with new tools for the development of their own organization.o Identification and design of social projects focusing on women's economic empowerment, for different international development agencies, such as USAID, UN Women and Global Fund for Women.o Implementation of a qualitative field research on cooperatives and self-organized groups integrated and directed by women in Peru. Through our research we demonstrated that the socioeconomic model proposed by Cooperatives represent one of the most successful tools to promote women’s empowerment and women’s participation in development processes.

Equador

o Management of a cooperation programme providing scholarships to children and youth in different cities and rural areas of the country: follow up of supporters, mostly based in Italy, Germany and United States; monitoring of active scholarships and search for new beneficiaries, in partnership with several private and public institutions.o Collaboration in a project aimed at establishing a rural "Caja de Ahorro y Crédito": a financial institution based on the promotion of savings as a tool for the granting of small loans to the farmers: execution of a preliminary baseline research and evaluation of previous microcredit activities in the Community.
