• Manage and update all company social media and websites (Facebook, twitter and google+ page maintenance. Websites updated using Joomla software) • SEO• Formulating marketing strategy and plans (guided directly by the marketing manager)• Investigate and negotiate with websites in order to place articles• Update and design of brochures and catalogues (Ensuring consistency is kept as far as ‘look and feel’ of the company)• Manage availability and correct use of display and other promotional materials• Work with and brief advertising agency on advertorial content, proof-read content and follow through process till publication• Negotiate advertising rates and booking schedules • Proof read articles• Sourcing and investigating new mediums with which to reach prospects, ensuring that medium fits in with our brand at all levels• Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to• Assist in compiling PR articles for publications• Compile bi-monthly internal magazine to ensure all staff understand the brand and what it stands for (Internal magazine given to all staff compiled by the marketing department)• Ensuring that the organization delivers against the brand essence, promise and personality at each point of contact the brand makes with employees, customers, shareholders, the press and any other stakeholders• Directly involved in formulating new product strategy (planning how to approach the market with new products while not harming any existing product, place, promotion, and price.)• Directly assist marketing manager in compiling budgets (Drawing past figures and formulating projected amounts needed for the future)• Distribution of web leads to sales reps (assigning web leads from the website to the relevant sales reps)• Compiling and distributing turnover reports• Arrange and coordinate all photography

• Manage and maintain positive relationships with venue staff and media partners ( Liaising with hi-tech Security Solutions Magazine on new articles and ads to be placed)• Support the overall marketing objectives. (Design, maintain and manage the development of all company stationery.)• Originating and planning campaigns in conjunction with the Marketing Manager. (Event management, sourcing, selecting and liaising with event management companies in setting up and managing events to meet all company and marketing criteria) • Develop promotional opportunities and ideas from conception through to delivery. (Design logos, brochures, product packing, and various other promotional items, such as Christmas gifts with company branding, expo stand branding, etc)• Provide regular information where necessary to assist with the compilation of reports. (Keeping various departments up to date with current marketing material in order to keep brand/branding consistency)• Supply sufficient information to the Marketing Manager to enable effective budgetary control of specific areas of activity. (Advising the Marketing manager from a ground level perspective as to what works and what might not work and what will save costs)• Source, manage, and update info on a regular basis for company websites.
