Accenture recently acquired Fjord, both of whom are world leaders in the design and innovation space. I therefore find myself in the privileged position to be working for Fjord, AND within the greater Accenture group as this exposes me to a wide range of Design, Experience and wider Business Solution projects. Mirum agency is a User-Focused agency and thus one that is forward-thinking and primed for future success as an early adopter of this essential "Design Thinking" business approach. Being a UX specialist, and given that we place so much emphasis on the User Experience, my Experience Design input occurs throughout comprehensive UX-focused projects. As the digital industry matures in SA, the market-leaders in the creative space have identified the need for UX's involvement in the strategies we develop for our clients, where I find myself enjoying this extension of my role.Some of my duties and responsibilities:- Meet with stakeholders and establish requirements for UX-driven solutions- Provide and advise on best-practice UX processes for various stages of product development life cycle- UX Institutionalisation- UX-centred design / redesign of websites and Apps (Including some major International Banks)- Wireframing: User Journeys, Websites, Apps using tools such as Axure, Adobe XD, Sketch- Involved with UX component of client pitches, including visually chique and intelligent "decking" - Experience Mapping- Persona research and development, providing direction for our Creatives- Campaign/Brand/Digital strategy (UX-focused)- User Testing: Set testing requirements and paramenters, based on user research, Compile testing plans, including test materials and associated documentation, conduct tests etc.- Conceptualisation of new websites and AppsSome Interesting Talking Points:- Compiled a comprehensive "User Testing Manual" for an international bank. ----This is used to execute the User Testing endeavours for an International Bank---- Also involved in the design of the User Testing / Innovation Lab- Run internal UX-related training to upskill our staff as well as aid the UX Institutionalisation process---- Includes a little UX-related workshopping
