As an Honours Health Science Undergraduate student at the University of Waterloo, I have been very passionate about healthcare from a young age. Over the years I have volunteered and adapted in many different settings, gaining valuable knowledge that brought me to where I am today. I am currently interested in pursuing research in the field of public health. I also work closely with the Kidney Foundation of Canada as a volunteer and I started a Kidney Awareness club at my university to help bring awareness to chronic kidney disease. Recently, I have also assisted in starting the Turkish Student Association at the University of Waterloo, where I am in charge of the financial aspects of the club as a signing authority. My passion for inclusivity and interest in meeting new people lead me to volunteer as a leader in First Year Orientation at the University of Waterloo last year, followed by an Events Coordinator position this year. Some of my hobbies include reading, cooking, martial arts, trying various kinds of iced coffee and travelling.
