CurrentDirects the activities and monitors for acceptable performance of sub-grantees contracted by the Community Development Department.Ensures MFA’s and Sub-grantees compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements of the HOME, ESG, CoC, Rental Assistance Program, Linkages, and NME$mart, (weatherization)Works with Management and grantees in researching and assessing needs of the program grantees and recipients to determine the most effective ways to meet their needs, utilizing MFA programs.Research and coordination of generating additional revenues from non-traditional sources.Directs the development of the Consolidated Plan, Annual Plan, ESG and HOPWA CAPER’sDirects MFA’s Environmental Review Program, Davis Bacon compliance reviews, Relocation, Site Suitability..Oversight of the Affordable Housing Act, and oversight of certain components as specified in the ActCoordination of Affordable Housing Act Rules.Oversight of the Regional Housing Authority Law and oversight of certain components as specified in the Regional Housing Authority Act. Works to establish MFA as a key player in housing in New Mexico and create positive visibility for MFA.Responsible for state and federal (local office) advocacy efforts on legislative and administrative issues relating to MFA and/or its programs. Tracks national, state and local housing legislation.
