I am a recent Journalism, Communications and Politics graduate at Cardiff University with a keen interest in Marketing, Communications and Social Media.I am passionate about designing, and have utilised these skills to good use. Having been Publicity Officer for the Cardiff University A Cappella Society from 2018/19, then Group Manager for one of the groups from 2019/2020, I have become familiar with using software such as Canva, Gimp, Photoshop and Microsoft Publisher, and have become more confident at creating attractive designs.I am a strong verbal and written communicator. Having been Vice-President for the A Cappella society from 2019/2020, I was required to be a strong verbal communicator with members of the society, both as a group and on a one to one basis.In addition, through being Communications Assistant at Inspire Me, I have become a confident written communicator on different platforms, from short formal informative posts on twitter to longer informative posts on Facebook. I am also familiar with lengthier written communication, from more formal pieces of writing demonstrated by my high university grades, to my more informal newsletter pieces I have written for Inspire Me. From completing the module "Marketing, branding and Promotional Cultures in Television", I have become more familiar with the practical and academic side of marketing, and believe my strong performance in this module demonstrates my flair for this industry. I am a friendly and approachable person, and I believe I have strong ideas and experience to be an asset.
