As part of my Level 3 Aeronautical engineering course I completed industry placement, I attended Westair Engineering and Corporate Aviation Services at Blackpool Airport.I worked alongside specialist engineers testing and maintaining fixed undercarriage light aircraft. I often removed, cleaned and tested spark plugs, oil filters, air filters and the aircraft’s wheel bearings. I also got amazing opportunity’s such as working on a Cessna 406 maintenance check from start to finish, having multiple flight simulation experiences and real flight experience.
