As a dedicated Laboratory Technician with extensive experience in environmental monitoring and water quality testing, I specialize in sample control, process improvement, and maintaining regulatory compliance in laboratory settings by organizing and coordinating sampling events. Currently, I work with the City of San Diego's Public Utilities Department, contributing to environmental monitoring and technical services for monitoring of the city-controlled water treatment facilities. In this role, I manage sample collection and coordination, implement process improvements, and ensure accurate documentation in compliance with internal and external standards.My previous experience as a Laboratory Analyst at Babcock Laboratories further honed my technical expertise in water quality analysis, where I performed complex sample preparations, managed analytical instruments, and ensured precise data reporting. I also played a key role in cross-department collaboration, coordinating sample control procedures and working within laboratory safety committees to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.I am highly proficient in laboratory technologies such as Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) and have a solid foundation in water quality testing methods, sample handling, and documentation.
