I work with teachers to plan and support Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD) lessons and am working with students to support their English language learning. Vocabulary and content scaffolding are my main focus. I work with small groups and am using GLAD as well as Systematic Vocabulary Instruction strategies that support Common Core Standards. I owned the "business". I rented the Head Start building in Tonasket for the summer. As head teacher, I was responsible for all equipment I owned or made, and individual plans for each student's progress as well as curriculum planning and teaching. I had one aide at the time, and up to 35 children enrolled.

I was a teacher in the program and worked with other teachers on curriculum and individual tracking of students.
