No company wants to go court, and I do my best to keep you out of it. As a litigator who has taken employment cases through trial, my preventative counseling is guided by my understanding of what the best possible defense of a claim would look like. I enjoy helping companies navigate complicated employment scenarios with this perspective. I have been a litigator since 1997, and have practiced employment law since 2006. I work with companies to keep their employment policies and practices up to date. When companies face employment claims I represent them to resolve the case as quickly and efficiently as possible. In addition to providing ongoing employment advice, I handle cases before the Labor Commissioner (DLSE), the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the San Francisco Office of Labor Standards Enforcement (OLSE), Superior Court, and matters that are pre-litigation.When I'm not practicing law, I practice basketball badly. I play for fun, and coach youth teams for joy. Other sources of joy are doing anything with my three kids, and being in nature.
