About Rose Graf

I start with my drive for answers to specific questions. I’ve always loved to ask questions and seek knowledge from those who know more than me. As a 10 year old who loved carrying her microscope around, my curiosity for biology grew from honest fascination and continues due to being a part of a science team or taskforce. After 3 years at the National Institutes of Health, I learned that I thrive troubleshooting problems in a protocol; every step in a western blot are avenues I’ve delved into. I know a full range of immortalized cells from working in a cell culture core for a year. Lastly, I can give an elevator pitch of my research and even was a finalist in a 5-minute talk research competition. I realized my ability to ask for help when most needed because science does not always happen in a vacuum. I have a knack for documenting the details, especially for those moments when an experiment doesn’t go as expected. Creating protocols and communicating results are my favorite part of the job. I can’t imagine my life without benchwork. If you'd like to talk, send me a LinkedIn message.
