About Me:I’m Rose Hill, a graphic artist, muralist, and educator passionate about transforming public spaces into vibrant, joyful works of art. My career has taken me from collaborating with renowned brands like Harrods and ZSL London Zoo to sharing my expertise at esteemed institutions such as the V&A Museum and the British Library.Growing up in Islington on a council estate with hippy parents gave me a deep appreciation for inclusivity, cultural resonance, and the power of creativity to bring people together. After earning First Class Honours in Textile Design from Chelsea College of Arts, I built a career blending artistic innovation with community empowerment.A turning point came during a community art project in Hackney, funded by the Mayor of London. Seeing how the experience positively transformed participants’ well-being and connection to their surroundings inspired me to shift my focus entirely. I founded Co-Creative Connection (CCC) to share that transformative impact with communities across the UK, creating spaces where creativity, connection, and pride thrive.About Co-Creative Connection (CCC):Co-Creative Connection collaborates with communities to co-design and paint public art, transforming spaces into vibrant, joyful environments. Guided by values of inclusivity, creativity, and collaboration, CCC’s mission is to inspire, connect, and contribute to community well-being.Since its founding, CCC has delivered free, inclusive workshops across 15 boroughs, empowering over 3,777 participants aged 2–95. By transcending barriers of age, background, and ability, these workshops foster lifelong skills, friendships, and a sense of pride.Partnering with 44 organisations like Populo Living, The Hill Group, Higgins Partnership, Peabody, City of London and Poplar HARCA and delivering over 405 teaching hours, CCC has transformed public spaces into creative landmarks that celebrate the power of community. Based on clients’ beloved cats and dogs.The success of ‘Make Your Pet Famous’ has led to a full range of print and stationery products being stocked in retail outlets across the UK, Europe, and in Japan, the USA, and Australia, along with a custom collection for Harrods sold under their own label. Other collaborations have included ZSL London Zoo and Whipsnade Zoo and the British Museum. More recently, Rose has designed and painted a number of large-scale murals in her signature style including at Rachien Smoothie JAPAN, Stour Space Hackney Wick, Old Diorama Arts Centre Warren Street, Small Print Book shop Forest Hill, private commissions in Oxford Street and many in Stoke Newington and Clean Prose a co-working space designed specifically for writers. The British Library, The Women's Institute, Private members bars, amongst others.Rose takes inspiration from the world around her and wants her artwork to be fun and approachable.
