Working with this charity fashion show has enabled me to gain a great deal of experience working in fashion marketing and to gain a breadth of knowledge including, but not limited to: running campaigns for recruiting Makeup Artists, Fashion Designers and Models to the show, boosting ticket sales and attracting sponsorship for the show.The role included managing a team of volunteers and enabling them to get a breadth of experience within their first time working with digital marketing.I enjoy working within the fashion industry, and working to raise money for charities in Yorkshire is extremely rewarding.

I made the decision to begin a career in Marketing by volunteering my time working with a small business local to me, who are specialists in Digital Marketing, to gain experience.During my time at Shoo I gained the following experience: Written blogs to be published on the company website:- Over £1000 raised at Fashion Fiesta for One In A Million- The key to building your small business without upsetting your work/life balance? E-learning!- Do you have a thirst for Social Media?I've also written and sent press releases to local newspapers, which involved research externally and internally by communicating with colleagues. I have used buffer to create media and schedule tweets for various accounts.I also engaged in Social Selling by utilising various Social Media platforms to generate leads for the business. This helped me to build my sales and business development skills. I also communicated and liaised with the local community and businesses to co-ordinate a Christmas campaign that involved networking local businesses and facilitating their participation in the campaign.

As a Receptionist and Administrator for The Northern School of Contemporary Dance I worked alongside my studies when I was needed to cover their employment gaps. My duties included front-of-house duties such as greeting clients and providing refreshments, as well as running the Ticket Box Office to aid the selling of tickets. Running the box office required the ability to work under pressure, great attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills.
