GB Films is a creative production house specializing in film, video and rich media content for the advertising industry. During my time here, I’ve successfully produced several digital media pieces for Bay Area tech companies. Adventures include managing a production for FireMon involving 30 people and featuring our talent climbing the face of San Jose City Hall; Google Cloud’s DORA filming in six different locations, with rowing and trapeze arts, over two shooting days; and getting a peek inside the animation process with JD Haas for MSI. My work for GB Films involves client interfacing, preparing SOWs and budgets (ranging from $15,000 to $200,000), hiring crew, working with vendors, PO’s, insurance, and permitting, among several other production tasks. When I’m not working on location with Director Andy Hill, I help run the day-to-day operations of our production office in Petaluma. I enjoy working as a creative producer and editor.

Collaborate with industry professionals such as the Marketing/Creative Director, Production Manager and Creative Producers to organize, shoot and edit promotional spots. Monitor extensive data on a daily basis to avoid programming conflicts and ensure timely airing of the promo. Coordinate rehearsal and shoot schedules. Consistently exhibit creative expertise by developing innovative promotional spots for sales and news departments.Served as the Assistant Director on two of the biggest 30-second promos in the history of ABC10 Studios: "Extra Butter" (Mark S. Allen's show about movies) and the "Bla Bla Land" promo for the Morning Blend news team, a play on "La La Land" that gained the studio significant recognition.Leverage troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities when assigning numbers to promos from multiple sources and send the numbers for air.

Worked with the production management team on "Mamaboy," a feature film, and handled SAG/AFTRA documentation for principal actors. Coordinated schedules and managed 100 extras which frequently entailed 16-18 hour days.
