With nearing finishing my undergraduate degree at the University of Melbourne, completing a Bachelor in Agriculture, my passions lie in plant and soil science. With a great interest in the sustainability side of the industry, I would love to dive into opportunities within the regenerative agriculture sector, to learn more about their practices and the future of farming. I have immersed myself in the country for the past three years whilst studying at Dookie Agricultural College, located in rural Victoria. Whilst growing up in the city, I didn’t have any prior knowledge or experience, meaning I was able to fully involve myself in what Dookie had to offer. This included completing my Cert III in Agriculture as well as having on-farm classes that helped me gain knowledge about agricultural plants and animals. I have completed two harvest seasons at Dookie GrainCorp, which was my first experience in the industry. Working with people with common interests was a great introduction to agriculture and I am excited to learn more about the ins and outs of the production industry. I am currently looking for work/learning opportunities within regenerative agriculture and the sustainability industry, and am excited to learn about the agricultural world outside of university.
