Leading a small team of logistics coordinators and commercial truck drivers while scheduling a small fleet of DOT regulated company trucks and trailers for projects, maximizing present and future profitability through cost-effective strategizing. I'm continually impressed with this team and the jobs that we have managed to pull off with excellence. We have coordinated several complex and exciting projects, including the NFL Superbowl, World Cup and the Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Collaborating with clients and my coworkers to ensure our equipment and technicians are scheduled, arrive promptly and have all of the information needed to execute the job at hand while leaving the customer satisfied. Filmwerks provides customized structures, staging, scenic, and lighting for live television broadcasting networks, with a primary focus on sports and news events. This position requires the use of independent judgment, self motivation and decisive decision making skills. I manage the travel coordination for the technicians, CDL drivers, and occasionally a few business executives. Differentiating the best price among various vendors, preparing documents for billing and problem solving in time sensitive situations is all a part of the game.

Bar tending and catering special events including weddings, live concerts, political gatherings and dinner parties. Picking up shifts occasionally to work among fun people, smell and taste great food, while getting some steps in while making a little side money!

Being apart of a team with strong roots in the local community was really rewarding. Encore has been the cultural arts and entertainment publication in Wilmington, NC for over 30 years. I created close relationships with local business owners, non- profit organizations, entrepreneurs, chefs, and artists by listening to their advertising needs and getting their message out to the public through promotional materials and social media networks. I contributed to the development of encore's digital platforms. We expanded the audience reach through digital marketing by utilizing social media contests, giveaways, surveys and a new mobile app. I was an active role in the planning process of company events such as Wilmington Restaurant Week, Burger Week, and the annual Best of Awards Party.
