I received my MFA in Poetry from San Francisco State University where I served as a graduate teaching fellow and organized a monthly student reading series at The Poetry Center. I am the recipient of the William Dickey Fellowship in Creative Writing and the Blue Shield Prize in Poetry. My work has appeared in Poetry Flash, We Still Like, and elsewhere, and my poem 117 Words was a winner of the Mark Linenthal Award for Poetry.I live in the San Francisco North Bay with my husband and son and enjoy writing and translating poetry, letterpress and book arts, hiking, running and foraging.
